Read MoreLola Proaño Gómez is Emeritus Professor at Pasadena City College, (2011); She earnead Ph.D in Latin American Theatre (University of California, Irvine), and a Master in Philosophy (California State University, Los Angeles). She published Poética, Política y Ruptura: Argentina 1966-73 (Atuel, Buenos Aires, 2002), Poéticas de la globalización en el teatro latinoamericano(Gestos, Irvine, 2007), Estética comunitaria. Miradas desde la filosofía y la política (Biblos, Buenos Aires, 2013); Antología de teatro latinoamericano: 1950-2007 (Instituto Nacional de Teatro Argentino 2010. Lola also published articles and lectured in South America, the United States, England, Spain and Germany. Currently she is Guest Researcher at the Gino Germani Institute, Social Sciences, University of Buenos Aires as well as member of several Editorial Boards of Academic International Journals about Latin American Theatre.
